Hey, welcome 👋🏼
I'm Manuel (manzan), Software + Data Engineer living in East London.
👨🏼💻 I work at Millennium, developing quant tools and a greenfield data platform within an energy trading team. I build back-end, front-end/dashboards, automated reports, ETL pipelines, web scrapers and CI/CD as well as scheduling/monitoring systems. Before, I was at Lyst, a fashion tech company, working as tech lead in technical SEO. We developed Python microservices, client libraries, data pipelines, webhook listeners, internal dashboards and moderation tools, as well as features for the global Lyst platform.
🎓 As for my educational background, I most recently studied Computer Science (M.Sc.) at 🇬🇧 Imperial College London. I also studied International Business (B.Sc.) at 🇳🇱 Maastricht University and 🇭🇰 The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology. Originally I'm from close to 🇩🇪 Cologne and I've also spend some time working in Berlin and Munich.
